Dr Katie Friel-Russell veterinary behaviourist and dog trainer for Positive Pet Training. Graduated from Liverpool University in 2012 and gained her Post Graduate Diploma in Animal Behaviour Management from Lincoln University.

    You get access to the course as soon as you purchase it. You can start the course whenever you like and go through it at your own pace.

  • How long do I have access to the course for?

    You get the course for a full 12 months after signing up! Plenty of time to teach all of those life skills! If you need any more time after that just let us know and we can give you further access!

  • Does this cover everything I need to know?

    This course is completely standalone for exercises listed in the curriculum. It teaches you how to teach your dog! We would really recommend purchasing the full package for your dog whether puppy, rescue or adult to really get all the information you need!

  • What if my dog has other problems?

    You can access our Facebook group Positive Pet Portal or book an individual training session with us either in person or online to focus on any specific training goals you have! Or check out our other online courses for even more training help!

  • Who is this course for?

    This course if for anyone who has a dog! It really is suitable for all dogs regardless of previous training level. We have dogs and their guardians who get lots of out of this course even after completing the Kennel Club Gold Good Citizen Award. That's because our training is truly real life based and focusses on you understand how your dog learns in order to be a successful teacher. We also work towards dog become well behaved rather than obedient. So dogs who have done a lot of training in the past can still learn a lot from this more welfare based style of training!

  • How long is the course?

    The course has 7 modules set over seven weeks worth of training! But you can complete it as fast or as slow as you like! Each module has separate lessons in for the different exercises taught.
